At night of March12.2010.Tony and I(Alex) arrived at Jakarta. We are excited to be able on a road of exploring a new market. No matter where we were,we all received the warm reception. We visited the end retailer at Jakarta elctronic market, General agent or distributor of major competitors, Indonesia's Top 10 panel maker. No matter who they were, Indonesian people or Indonesia-born Chinese, when they heared that we came from China,they all expressed great interest on us. Rapid development of China's economy meant much more business opportuinities to them. In Indonesia market, products made in china were everywhere from the top down, from the construction of large –scale power station to daily necessities. However, on the process of developing the market,chinese products left a bad impresson of low quality and low price. To our surprise,when we fetched out our products,they all sent heartfelt admiration. One customer disassembled B71 series MCB and inspected them carefully, showing that SASSIN's products were not worse than the products of European or American brand but much efforts were required on the future promotion in Indonesian market. It's really difficult and time-consuming for them to trust and accept our products. Locating on equator, tropical climate not only created the beautiful senery all the year round,but also gave brith to the outgoing personality of Indonesian people. Although Indonesia belonged to muslim country, Indonesian people affected deeply by democratic free thought were not as implicative as Chinese people, leaving a impression of hospitality and friendliness. This visit came to the end after nearly two monthes , but we knew that we had just began our business journey in Indonesia. |
